Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011! We started out Christmas Eve with a little prep for Christmas Dinner. Sarah took over some of the cooking responsibilities. She LOVES to cook and EAT.

The McNutts arrived around 11:00 p.m. in their Jammies...at least the boys did. Sarah was glad to see them. We had brunch of egg strata, cinnamon buns, and fruit and then...

We broke into the presents. Sarah handed out hers and is excited to see how they react.

Patrick and Crystal are overjoyed to get a popsicle maker for the family.

Jackson is busy opening her present to him...Dinosaur pajamas and slippers. We have heard that he wants them washed over and over again so that he can wear them.

The best part to Sarah is the hug of gratitude afterward.
Jackson is REALLY good at giving that!

Crystal and her purple pumps!

Jackson, learning how to be a garage attendant, is focused on his play.

Grampy received a new razor and Jackson tries it out.

Layla, Lily, and Jackson, all received cooking aprons. They are all "chefs"!

Sadly, Christmas Day is over and it is time to go home. Logan adorns his bear hat and gives us a smile.

On Dec. 26th we travel to the cottage to see the Stewarts. Because Molly is still sick with a cold, they come up the 27th. We open presents and Lily loves her new jacket from Sarah.

Molly and J-Man are happy to get a new camera to take pictures of my beautiful grandbabies.

Sarah chills with happy Joey.

I do the same thing. Just chillin'.

Then it's off to the ever present computer for Mokey.
Oh, how she LOVES being on the computer...she is up to 712 friends on Facebook. Thanks Marianne Nielson Warner for introducing her to this!

We babysit Joey, while his sisters take off to Avalanche Bay.

I relish the time to snuggle!

While we babysit, we drive over to Tom and Susan's cottage. The Palmer House is lookin' good!

Tom Snow brings his "girls" (puppies) over and Lily and Layla are entranced.
Their names are Abby and Kaitlin, however, Layla decides to name the one she is playing with...Chiwawa.

Lily is in love.

Tom LOVES his girls.

We get ready to go to Scovies for lunch, and Joey shows off his new hat.
Mohawk Joey!

He thinks that Frosty does a good dance.

I help Lily eat her yummy cheeseburger. She is patiently waiting to stop the "Taffy Barrel".

After we arrive back at the cottage, Lily and I make snow angels in the 1 inch snow.

Layla watches from the warm family room. She must think it's pretty funny!

It's been a grand Christmas. We are so grateful for our 2 new grandchildren that joined the family in 2011. Life is GOOD!
