Up North!

On the drive this is what happened...
Jackson peed in car, twice....
then i was left digging out underwear,
we stopped at panera to get a salad  and patrick's salad was full of chicken guts, it was so disgusting he threw it away....which is A LOT for my husband to do. Also, they made wrong, it had no avocado which was the whole reason he wanted it...
THEN there was a guy yelling, a semi blocked off,  we missed the exit, and oh yeah...Logan screaming. The thing is, we're not even out of Toledo yet.

Wait....Jackson just had another pee all over me as we were driving.
Yippee! I can tell this is going to be a wonderful drive.

Then about 4 hours into the drive the kids got really happy and silly.
I even captured this sweet moment.

Here is a video of us making the trek up north and Patrick getting the boys all riled up,
Jackson was being a hoot:

The next morning Jackson asked to ride the 4 wheeler and he was SO thrilled!

Logan stayed busy while they were gone.

When Jackson returned he said that he had picked me a leaf.
This is a thing he does all the time to signify his love toward someone.
I have lots of leaves he picks me.
He treats them like they are fresh roses and is so delicate and so proud to give it to me!

Thank you buddy for the BEAUTIFUL leaf!

Then it was Logan's turn for a ride.
He patiently waited and when they returned he yelled,
"My Turn!"

It was so cute because we kept telling Jackson that a new boat was coming.
That morning he looked outside and saw the workers and began cheering.
He yelled that our new "blue boat" had arrived and couldn't wait to go on it.
He was beyond thrilled and we looked outside to see this....
(the work raft)

He thought this was our new blue (because of the ladder) boat and thought it was just the best thing!

Patrick went out to help the guys put the canopy on.

Ahhh, now this is pure heaven.
The boy played on the beach,
Logan threw rocks, and Jackson watched the workers put the new canopy on the shore station.

After spending one full day in the sunshine, water, and beach logan took a 3 hour nap and then that night Jackson slept all night and it's 9:30am the next morning and he's still out...record.

When he woke up he was VERY chipper!

While we were eating breakfast one morning I looked over and Logan was over there bouncing to the music on this toy, it was making me laugh so hard:

Logan decided to try on Grampy's sandals and wear them around!

Then it was time!
The men were patiently waiting on the front porch for over an hour because the guy delivering the boat was really late,

Patrick stood in the road waiting...

and waiting...

I spent my time waiting by lying in the grass on the perfect weather day!

The boys played and played.

and then it finally arrived and boy were they excited!

Patrick was like a kid in a candy shop...

There she is...Malibu WakeSetter 24 Foot MXZ

Then they went to launch it.

and after it was all ready, then it was time to take it out for a maiden voyage!

Jackson was SO excited!

We were enjoying our Maiden Voyage on the MXZ today and Jackson was just in heaven:

I don't think it gets better.

Patrick was having a blast driving!

First boat ride of the year!

Jackson found where the horn is...

Then he loved standing up and feeling the wind in his hair!

Jackson asked to drive for a minute.

and then a SEAPLANE went overhead and Jackson went nutso!
He's been talking about seaplanes for the last 6 months and he was so excited to see one!

Then we checked out the front of the boat and all the luxurious space!

We layed down and really created some sweet memories.

Then we came back on the beach to play and Logan wanted some snuggle time with Grampy.

What a wonderful time!
